I found another image in the book "20th Century: A Century of Graphic Design" by Jeremy Aynsley. This book has lots of creative graphic design imagery and I think it has lots of great examples for the GDS 120 class. This image, designed by Rand, who worked on IBM's corporate for many years, caught my eye automatically. It's creative imagery really catches the readers attention and gets your brain working! He designed this for a poster that was made for the company in 1981 and I've still seen this image today. It's one of the more newer designs in the book, but possibly the greatest attention-getter in the entire book. IBM called this one of his most ingenious logos for the business.
