I chose this design created by Koloman Moser in the book "20th Century: A Century of Graphic Design" by Jeremy Aynsley. The reason I chose this design is because the imagery and typography really stand out and is so unique that it catches the reader's attention immediately. The image appeared on the cover of a magazine called Ver Sacrum (Sacred Spring). The magazine specialized in poetry and aesthetic philosophy as well as promoting the new aesthetic way of life. It was a very illuminating design and it stood out very well.Wednesday, September 16, 2009

I like a this piece. I think that the black makes a beautiful contrast with blue. It looks so gorgeous. Thank you for sharing a good example.
